Zune HD Pricing confirmed.Release Date Set.

Microsoft has finally confirmed the pricing of the Zune HD. The 16GB model will be available in black and will cost $220, and the 32GB model will be available in platinum and will cost $290. The device is available for preorder on Amazon.com now, and the Zune HD will be available on September 15th 2009.

Windows 7 RC no longer available next week.

Microsoft's Windows 7 RC (Build 7100) will no longer be available for download after August 20, 2009. You will still be able to install the RC after this time, and Microsoft says it will still be giving out product keys for those who don't have one yet. The Windows 7 RC will expire on June 1, 2010 and starting on March 1, 2010, your PC will begin shutting down every two hours.

Microsoft ordered to stop selling Word.

Yesterday, a judge issued an injunction that, if it remains in force, would compel Microsoft to stop selling copies of its popular productivity program, Word. The judge issued the injunction after he found Microsoft guilty of infringing on a patent held by a Canadian company called i4i. For more information click here.

Microsoft and Nokia bringing Office to Symbian.

Microsoft and Nokia have teamed up to bring office to the Symbian platform in 2010, a feature currently only available on the Windows Mobile platform. This is the first time that Microsoft are developing Office software for another company's platform for hand-held devices.

iDisk on the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Apple has released its Mobile Me iDisk app for the iPhone and iPod Touch after promising the app would be coming soon after the 3.0 update last month.
Users log on and then can view all there files.
The app is free and available now on the app store.

Palm Pre to come to O2 in the UK soon.

The Palm Pre is set to come to the UK by Christmas 2009.
So far no more information on tariff or pricing.
